According to the police, “the woman confessed during her interrogation that she was trained as a special officer by the terrorist organization of the PKK and that she entered the country illegally from Arfin”.

In the same announcement it is added that “the PKK terrorist took the order for Constantinople from the headquarters located in Kobani, Syria and admitted that she detonated the bomb at 16:20 on Sunday (13/11)”.

The police clarified that they proceeded to arrest the woman after checking the material recorded by 1,200 security cameras in which the woman is seen leaving the bomb at the site of the explosion.

“We have concluded that this person left the scene of the explosion in a taxi and headed to the Esenler area. An operation followed at 21 addresses for which we had evidence that their tenants had contact with this person. During this operation 46 people were arrested and from the investigations we were led to the fact that the person who left the bomb lived in the Küçükçekmece area”.

The identity of the woman was announced shortly after the release of footage of the arrest of the woman who is considered the main suspect in the bomb that caused the explosion in Constantinople.

In the video, special police forces can be seen entering an apartment, handcuffing the woman and searching the premises, discovering, among other things, weapons.
