Coronavirus Greece: 20,084 cases, 16 dead and 95 intubated

Among intubated patients, 41 (43.16%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 54 (56.84%) are fully vaccinated

Greek authorities announced 20,084 new infections in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,644,889 (daily change + 0.5%), of which 48.6% are men.

The number of possible new re -infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 3,664 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 165,417 (4.3% of the total number of positive results ).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 16 , while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 30,206 deaths have been recorded. 95.7% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 95 (60.0% men). Their median age is 71 years. 91.6% have underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 41 (43.16%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 54 (56.84%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,726 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
