Turkish spy planes committed 75 violations of Greek national airspace

According to HNDGS, the Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted

The Turkish provocations over the Aegean continued with undiminished intensity on Saturday, despite the fact that no flights from Turkish F-16 fighters were recorded.

As the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) reported, Turkish CN 235 reconnaissance planes committed 75 violations of the Greek national airspace.

There were also 15 infringements of air traffic rules in the Athens FIR while two more violations of airspace were recorded by a UAV unmanned aircraft. In total, a Turkish UAV, four CN-235s, three helicopters, and two ATR-72s took off on Saturday in the Northeast, Central, and Southeast Aegean.

According to HNDGS, the Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules and established practices.
