Scientists are closely following the sequence of aftershocks

A magnitude 4.1 aftershock hit Elassona on Friday afternoon at 12:00 noon.

According to the Geodynamic Seismological Institute, the earthquake occurred 10 kilometres west southwest of Elassona.
