Libyan Parliament officially authorizes Egypt to “militarily intervene”

The Libyan conflict is about to destabilize the entire Mediterranean basin

Newsroom July 14 02:38

The Tobruk House of Representatives governing Cyrenaica in eastern Libya released an official decision in which it «declares that the Egyptian army has the right & authorization to militarily intervene in Libya if necessary, to protect the national security of both Egypt & Libya».

The conflict in Libya is about to take a new turn as the destabilization of the wider region with the military direct and indirect intervention of so many international players will affect northern Africa, Central and Eastern Mediterranean as well as southern Europe.
