Nicole Kidman opens up about her “strong sexuality”

Her marriage, she says, has worked for so long because she never texts with her husband

Newsroom September 20 11:33

Australian star  doesn’t hold back in her latest interview, opening up about her “strong sexuality” and the game she plays with husband Keith Urban.

Speaking to Marie Claire US, the 51-year-old movie star Nicole Kidman reveals she and her musician husband Keith Urban like to play a game where they quiz each other on whether artists lead with their head, heart or sexuality.

As for the actress herself, she says she’s “a pretty even mix”.

“I always say I’m a pretty even mix, but I’m probably dominated by [my heart],” she tells the magazine for its October issue. If you don’t come from a feeling place, you just end up with an enormous amount of technique. I have this [brain], but that can be overruled. It fluctuates too. I have a strong sexuality. It’s a huge part of who I am and my existence.”

In an interview with Parade earlier this year, the Oscar winner revealed how their marriage has worked for so long, including this rule – they’ve never texted.

“We call,” she said. “We’ve done this since the very beginning. The reason it started at the beginning was because I didn’t know how to text and it just kind of worked for us, so now we don’t. We just do voice to voice or skin to skin, as we always say.”

The couple, who often have distance between them, use FaceTime as a means of communication, but texting is a no–no as it can lead to misinterpretation.
