Commissioner Moscovici to visit Athens on November 28-29

Commissioner to hold a series of key meetings with Greek officials

The European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, Pierre Moscovici is scheduled to visit Greece on November 28 and 29. On Monday, November 28 the European Commissioner will hold a series of crucial meetings with Greek government officials, including PM Alexis Tsipras to discuss matters pertaining to the Greek bailout program. Moscovici will also meet with Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Minister of Finance and Development Dimitris Papadimitriou, while he is scheduled to be the key speaker at a dinner organised within the framework of the “Greek Economy Conference” held by the Greek-American chamber of commerce at the Athenaeum Intercontinental hotel. During the second day of his visit, Moscovici will take part in a working luncheon with members of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), followed by a meeting with Labour Minister Efi Achtzoglou. The European bureaucrat will hold a press conference at the European Parliament office in Athens, while his trip will end with a visit to the 7th primary school at the municipality of Gerakas, a project co-funded by the Public and Private Partnerships (PPP) and the EU via the Jessica program.
