Potami: People’s third-place choice should be a democratic one

“Our purpose is to support our country and not SYRIZA”, says the leader of the POTAMI

Newsroom January 24 01:24

Speaking at a final campaign rally on Friday evening the leader of the newly formed Potami party emphasized that “our purpose is to support our country, not SYRIZA”.

Stavros Theodorakis, until recently a television presenter, argued that the higher the percentage Potami gains from the general vote, the “more effectively it will be able to help the country”.

He pledged that he will clash with both New Democracy, PASOK and SYRIZA, which he charge may disagree on everything sans one: receiving state funding.

“People’s third-place choice should be a democratic one,” he said, clearly pointing to the centrist “river” party’s inaugural general election goal: No. 3!
