An explosive device went off on the evening of Holy Wednesday outside the home of Giannis Sbokos, who is currently in jail over the arms purchases bribes case.
The blast caused several damages to the house, located in 40 Karaiskaki Street in Kifissia but fortunately there were no injuries.
According to information, the device was mounted on the outer gate at the entrance of the house  and there was no warning call prior to the blast.
At the time only the housemaid was at the house and she was not injured.
